Dada is a hound, with paws bigger than my fists. Pet him, his eyes go somewhere into his head, to where his nose keeps everything there is to remember. An eighteen-wheeler is turning around in the street. No one can go anywhere. Hands point, faces change, from mad to sad, to okay with it all, to curious, relieved, then happy. We’re more than eight years into this nameless era, since the hate virus took over, since the gods shook the jar we live in to see what we bugs might do. Things look similar but not much feels the same. A lot of people are looking for something to sting, someone to bite, kick or fuck up and the others are looking for a way to get out safely. Maybe that was always the way and I just never noticed. Still, nothing stops. There’s more nothing for later.
